Atlanta

Atlanta is a city that is an oasis of tolerance and acceptance of gays and lesbians and we yesterday met quite a number of people who had moved here from small towns all over the South.

Perhaps because of the unfortunate location of yesterday's Gay Travel Expo (downtown versus either Midtown or Buckhead), we did not see the number of people usually associated with these shows. However, those whom we did meet seemed very serious about traveling.

Atlanta is home to Delta Air Lines, and has thus become a major gateway to traveling overseas. Quite a few Delta employees were in evidence, and we look forward to welcoming some of them on our tours.

Tomorrow we return to Los Angeles for a week.  As we approach the end of the year we wish you safe travels as you make your way home to see family and friends and take some time to enjoy this special time of year.
